Fiji Pineapple Palm body fragrance

December 16, 2017

While on my recent trip to Dubai I came across the amazing offers at Bath and Body works outlet. I picked a whole bunch of goodies from this enchanting shop (will keep you posted on more products). Its winter time here (Delhi) more of like cinnamon, hot chocolate and marshmallow season. I undoubtedly love winters. But, occasionally I miss the tropical weather feel indoors. I opened my bag and Fiji pineapple palm body fragrance mist came in my hand. I thought "okay! let's try this one!". I am not used to of the tropical fragrances so, the first impression came was of some fruity punch "wow" I wondered why did I even choose it? It's different! Anyhow, the second note is a mix of all the milder tones which seems promising. The packaging says 'A juicy, lush blend of sweet tropical fruits that thrive in the beautiful rainforests of Fiji'. This Fine Fragrance Mist refreshes skin and leaves it beautifully scented. You can Lavishly splash or lightly spritz it. I chose the small bottle (easy to travel with) and its sophisticated pump delivers decent coverage while conditioning. A bit tempting all the time as I love the after effects as it absorbs in the skin.

What is your favorite tropical fragrance? write to me in in the comments below for some suggestions I Would love to try something new.

5 essential things that wake me up every morning

A fresh cup of coffee or tea:
Each morning I slither to the kitchen up to the counter and locate my best espresso lying in a tight container, I rub my eye a little and set the pot of water on high fire. More often than not, the idea of instant coffee is miserable, however, you can't granulate the beans each morning (ps. I don't own a processor) yet coffee is something one can't begin with. So there goes a spoonful of instant coffee and hot water. I pour some milk froth on it and add a spoon half of sugar. Yum! paradise right in the glass. I then wash my face and rapidly bounce on my corner nook with a book more often than not. there begins my day...

A decent read:
I am constantly enthusiastic about broadening my reading habits. Consequently, I begin my day by perusing. I store an assortment of books that help me pick up a more extensive knowledge of the world.

Online networking:
Being an addict, how might I begin my day without this one (blameworthy joy)? Looking at the new trends and grazing over Instagram for no reason (Yes! I am one of those)

Updates from loved ones:
Since I live away from my family, I make sure to connect with them in the morning, It just lit my mood and motivates me.

Morning shower schedule:
We all know this one particularly if somebody's a fish, who cherish water and beauty products to such an extent.

I wonder what you do each morning? Something comparative or not? whatever, let me know in the comment box underneath.

until at that point

Massive BIOTIQUE review

November 9, 2017

Hello everyone, In today's post, I want to share with you all my love for biotique. A company promised to be born of nature 100% Botanics, no chemicals, no preservatives, no animal testing. The lovely packaging is eco-friendly and recyclable. Oh, the products are lovely in packaging and for the drool-worthy prices, you wanna buy them all. Well! I did (sorry pocket). I have curated a post for BIOTIQUE history HERE. The facts and how the company started is very interesting.
Here is the list of all the empties and the products I still consume. For a reference, if you are into something budget friendly, small in size and powerful when it comes to your daily routine. Here is the list of products I used...

1. Biotique White Whitening and Brightening Face Wash:
A foaming gel with fresh goodies pineapple, tomato, lemon, and papaya. All the ingredients are proven to brighten, lighten, and deep cleansing properties. This facewash have clearly everything yet it failed to impress me. I used it a couple of times and somehow I did not get the clean and fresh feel at all (Could be the reason I was traveling, so water, climate etc). Kept it at home finally, turned out my brother used the entire bottle and re-ordered (win-win here). The feel after the wash is leathery and best when washed off with a face cloth.

2. Biotique Bio Papaya Revitalizing Tan-Removal Scrub:
The texture is thick creamy with granules here and there, Mind it! when you have oily skin, out of habit you rub your skin too much (at times 😁). You just want to get clear of the oil that's clogging your pores as much as you can, so you can breathe and feel fresh. Now, as I applied this scrub, it felt heavy at first, then hello course granules (have to do it!), after a few minutes as you wipe it off it will take 2-3 rounds of washing your face cloth. (not buying it again, why is it not salon like?). huh! finally off my skin (WAIT!) of the skin looks brighter, cleaner, smooth and supple. I will definitely use this product, for at least once I was scrubbing my skin harshly and second for the smoother and supple feel. Have you ever had any such experience?

3: Biotique Bio Fruit Whitening And Depigmentation Face Pack  :
I swear by this products results. The ingredients are Multani mitti (Fuller's earth), Geru (Garric), Yasad hhasma (Yasad bhasma), Tamator (Lycopersicum esculentum), Ananas (Ananas comosus), Kikargaund (Acacia Arabica), Paste base Q.S. As this is from the fruit range, having pineapple, tomato, lemon, and papaya. The box has clear instruction for usage
Directions: Apply evenly over cleansed face and neck Leave on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with water or damp washcloth. Use daily or as needed to lighten and brighten the complexion.
The only thing I do not ever do to my skin is leaving any pack or mask for a long time. First of all, I will choke and second I will fall asleep and will wake up only when there is an apocalypse(which is a long way).
4: Biotique Bio Coconut Whitening and Brightening Eye Cream:
With the goodness of pure virgin coconut, dandelion, and manjishtha this cream is a success. It instantly brightens up the area. I have huge bags under my eyes, seldom they are puffy or dark (days to days). I make sure to use this cream underneath all my creams, sunscreen and makeup every day. It works really well. Dab half a pea size amount under the eyes and you blend gently. Make sure to avoid applying too close to the eyes (Beware watery eyes could ruin the glorious makeup).

This cream contains ingredients such as almonds, sunflower gel, and nutmeg that acts together to combat fine lines and wrinkles, dryness and puffiness around the eyes. Almond, I believe works wonder but you have to be patient. It's not clear whether it's a day or night eye cream, however, I happily use it in my bedtime routine. Perfect for sensitive eyes and relaxes instantly.

Biotique Bio Morning Nectar Lightening Lip Balm Spf 30 Uva/Uvb Sunscreen: Quite a long name with all the details. Lipbalms are supposed to eliminate one purpose drying of lips. Fill out the creases, fine lines, chappy lips and make them soft. It does all that, what attracted me the most is that it has got a sunscreen which most lip balms don't use and the other one is the Lightening properties. Like a lip balm that lightens or let's say improve uneven tones of lips as well. wow! I instantly fall for the unique idea a picked it off the shelf.
have you ever walked into a store to buy something and fell for the unique character of a new product that you purchased without a second thought? (I did! 😁 with all the lip balms of Biotique)
Biotique Bio Berry Plumping Lip Balm Smoothes and Plump Lips:
The internet is going crazy over the bee-stung looking lips. I wanted to try that, nooo! not with fillers or some crazy vacuum procedure. Never do that! However, the name attracted me. The other Lipbalm I choose from biotique without thinking. I never regret buying biotique as I know the products are safe for my skin.
The ingredient are Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa), Indian berry (Coccilus suberosus), Vach (Acorucalamus), Badam (Prunusamygdalus), Surajmukhi (Helianthus annus), Kusumbhi (Carthamus tinctorius), Til (Sesamum Indicum), Erandi (Ricinus communis), Marham base.
The packaging says: This plumping balm restores lip fullness for a voluptuous, bee-stung look and refined lip contours.
How To Use - Smooth on and around bare lips, alone or under lipstick.
I felt a tingling sensation on my lips but it dries out after 4-5 hours, that's not too bad I guess. It does the work fine.

7: Biotique Bio Sandalwood 50+ SPF Sunscreen Ultra Soothing Face Lotion:
The box says that it protects skin with broad spectrum SPF 50 UVA or UVB sunscreen, very water resistant(I don't think it is), retains SPF after 80 minutes in the water (not a swimmer, so Not sure about this as well). You will get the hint of sandalwood, saffron, wheat germ, honey and bark of the Arjun tree (All the biotique products smell wonderful). This is a good small cute bottle, easy to carry and pour (not very thick consistency like other biotique creams and lotions). Use a pea size amount for your face and neck and you are good to go.

All in all, I had a good experience having tried BIOTIQUE. Have you ever tried any biotique products?

A mighty ride in pure heaven land

October 24, 2017

hello, to the most lovely of you. Have you ever wandered into a place and drove miles knowing nothing about the place, people and most of all your destination. I did! in the mighty humble abode of the great Uttarakhand. This was my first bike trip that awakened me.  Though it was nothing like an ideal bike trip. We almost ran over by a fast-paced truck, we shivered in the harsh cold in a fogged tent, almost choked while bathing, yet nothing stopped us from exploring the ultimate heaven on earth.

VLCC Pista Cream & Mud Mask Review

September 9, 2017

The aroma of pistachios and relaxing mud mask is nerve calming. VLCC has been a leading cosmetic company for many years. I have used and loved many of its products. In this post, I will be sharing my views on two products I recently purchased VLCC pista massage cream and VLCC mud face pack.

VLCC pista massage cream: I love to eat Pistachios, the light aroma is very tempting always, I thought it would be great to try this massage cream. The product claims to provides cellular protection and hydration. It is suitable for normal to dry skin. TRUE! But what is the cakey feel after we massage, or with the infinitesimal application itself? I feel its a lot heavier and thicker in consistency than usual massage creams. Many of you people might like it, for me, this is not the right product.

VLCC mud face pack: I have a thing for face packs, especially of a clay. The simpler the better. Now this mud face pack promises to tighten and brightens, cleanses deep-seated impurities, improve blood circulation. In my country, we get pure clay mud in brick shapes(to be used for beauty purposes and more), we majorly break it then crush it to coarse powder then we soak it into with whatever skin type we are using it for. Let us say normal/dull skin we add rosewater if someone has dry skin we add a bit of curd and so on... It does make your skin feel tighter, cleaner and brighter. Blood circulation nah! I don't think so. With the VLCC mud face pack, I feel its very itchy even on someone with oily skin (me). Another product I would not continue using. Hope to find something more interesting and useful with VLCC next time...

Have you used any of the VLCC product? what do you think about it? Let me know in the comment section below, I would love to hear it.

The river land

August 2, 2017

Dubai - United Arab Emirates
Have a little tolerance, my companions. As this will be one major post of photos of my last visit to The River land. Amazing! it took me again one more hour to reach there yet it's all justified, despite all the trouble. I think I delighted in the place more than some other place I have been in Dubai. It's tranquil, pressed with a considerable measure of photography choices and you get the chance to walk like some old European city by the river (Think its simulated yet that is alright). I won't state much... just enjoy the pics. In the event that you wanna find out about the place don't be hesitant to get in touch with me (ps. I don't bite. haha).
